Christmas in July Bus trip

Travelled north to Woongooroo Estate Winery which is up past Woodford for a much anticipated Xmas in July. Had a full coach of 47 members and the weather was kind to us. Phil and Roxy (the dog) welcomed us and Phil entertained us with great poetry - some of his own and some of Bill Kearns delightful yarns especially those about the senior citz meat raffle etc. Wine tasting was a hit and so was the scrumptious meal including dessert.

Before lunch we had time to check out a couple of Llamas and the owner of the animals gave us a rundown on them and the difference between them and Alpacas.

The raffles were very well received, as were the individual "Xmas" gifts to all who came on the trip. After a bit of a guitar and violin duo by Phil and his wife, we left , farewelled by Phil and Roxy of course.

Had a good run home arriving back in Redcliffe around 4:30PM. A Great day was had by all.
