The Naturally Attractive Numinbah Valley
What a lovely day for a drive in the countryside. The weather was kind to us as the rain stayed away. Our morning tea at Hinze Dam was much needed and the spectacular waterfall at the dam was the icing on the cake (water running over the spillway as the dam was at 102% full).
A drive through the rolling hills and small villages of northern NSW was a welcome sight. Only hiccup was the roundabout at Murwillumbah. The view through the windows of the Kingscliff Beach Bowls Club, where we had lunch, was ideal for whale watching later in the year. Our club certainly filled up the dining room. A long day but well worth the drive.
