Trip to Historic Ormiston House and Redland Museum
Beautiful day for the first trip of the year. Slight deviation to plan and visited the Redlands museum first. Also had to find somewhere for morning tea and the team from Cross Country Tours did a great job in finding a place for us to have morning tea and arranging to go to the Redland Museum in the morning and Ormiston House after lunch which was the reverse of what we were supposed to do. The museum was a fantastic place, well worth the visit. Lunch at the Lighthouse very well organised and had enough time for a very informative guided tour of Ormiston House which rounded out a long but interesting day.
View from front veranda. Original old slab hut. Sitting on the front veranda. Hearing some of the stories out on the side veranda. Lunch at Lighthouse Restaurant.
