Trip to Templin Historical Village
For our monthly bus trip we left Redcliffe at 8:15am and set off for the Boonah area to visit the Templin Historical Village. A very interesting place. Several separate buildings to visit, and all full of memorabilia. I found the most interesting area was the research office. This was absolutely jammed full of items of information and artifacts, with the lady responsible for it all knowing what everything was, and where it was. Totally organised. It took members back to their own childhoods and stirred up many wonderful memories.
Leaving the Village behind we visited Moogerah Dam before heading to the Dugandan Hotel for a very nice lunch. A good day out with plenty of sunshine and lots to admire.
