Trip to Woongooroo Estate Winery

Our February bus trip was on what was one of the wettest day of the month but that didn’t matter to the thirty four members that went and had a really good day out. Leaving Redcliffe at 9am, we headed straight to our destination, the Woongooroo Estate Winery at Mount Archer. Morning tea was damper and lamington all freshly cooked that day. We then had a trivia game, which gave us some good Australiana questions.

Wine tasting followed for an hour.

After lunch we had a sing along, all Aussie songs.

To finish we had a Wellington throwing contest, won by Faye Davies!!

Then homeward bound, with rain still falling all the way.

An excellent day was had by all
